comparing a trailer and an opening sequence.

This is a trailer for 'Iron man' The difference between a trailer and an opening sequence is that a trailer has the mos important parts of a film in it. If the film is a comedy hey normally have the funniest and most interesting parts in the film. it also has a voice over selling the film to the audience. This makes the audience want to go and see the film as it could look 'funny' or 'scary'. Where as an opening sequence is what is used to set the scene of a film to give you a taster of what is to come throughout the movie. it also introduces the actors and the brands of the companies that have made the film.
